Leanne Papirny - IDT, BAID
designSense Studio Manager (Calgary)
Leanne’s career began in commercial interior design, but she found her true passion was for residential design once she started working for a custom home builder in 2005. Her role included project management of all aspects of homes from start to finish. Leanne’s greatest satisfaction comes from helping clients’ visions become reality. Her personal design taste is contemporary and she is drawn to clean lines and modern finishes.
Leanne currently manages the day to day business operations of our designSense studio in Calgary, as well as managing the interior design of our show homes.  Leanne holds a Bachelor of Applied Interior Design degree from Mount Royal College and a Diploma in Interior Design from the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology.
 

Dawn McEwen - BAID
Design Consultant (Calgary)
Dawn comes with an extensive background in Design center operations. Her 10 years of experience has brought her many successes, some of which include winning  Sam Awards for her showhome designs. She takes pride in the fact she can educate customers in the value of their selections. Drawing on her past experience, Dawn is able to provide wide-range of  product knowledge to her customers. All homeowners can relate to her eclectic  style 
Dawn holds a degree  in Interior Design from Mount Royal University
 

Tabitha Thiessen - CID
Design Consultant (Calgary)
After enjoying a successful career  in marketing Tabitha decided to expand her creativity into Interior Design. She has been working in the industry for more than 4 years, both as a design consultant for a major home builder and for a successful renovation firm. She thrives in guiding buyers through the process when they are new to the market. Tabitha brings a fresh, creative approach to her designs and a consistent commitment to her clients’ satisfaction.  Her “Less is more” philosophy  is ideal for the modern homebuyer.
Tabitha holds a design certificate from Bow Valley College.
  

Brandy Hunter - CID
Design Consultant (Edmonton)
Brandy has worked in the design industry since 2001, gaining work experience at Benjamin Moore and various flooring companies. This background gave her a great base for color theory and design, as well as invaluable product knowledge and customer service skills. Brandy has a passion for color and creativity, and a love of residential interiors. Her personal taste is minimal in décor, using natural elements such as wood and stone to create warmth, with contrasting white and splashes of bold color.
 Brandy is a certified Interior Designer through the University of Alberta.
 

Allison Lenz  - CID
Design Consultant (Edmonton)
Allison joined Sabal Homes as a design consultant in 2009 after completing the residential interior design program at the University of Alberta. After building her own home she fell in love with the home building process and was inspired to go back to school and change careers so she could help others realize their vision and create their dream home. Her personal style is transitional, incorporating more traditional calming colors and natural elements with modern clean lines to create comforting, relaxing spaces.
Allison holds a Certificate in Interior Design from the University of Alberta.
